I'm harvesting some that have medicinal uses.

[she would normally gesture for him to crouch down and join her, but that would probably be uncomfortable for him, so instead she cuts a few stems of yarrow from just above one of the leaf nodes, then stands to hand the bundle up to him.]

This is yarrow. It's very useful for treating wounds - poultices made from it can help to clean wounds and stop the bleeding, and encourages injuries to heal. If you were ever to suffer a small cut in the garden, just crushing one of the flowers into the wound works as well.

I'm sure it must be.

...and perhaps they're not as effective, as the plants infused with aether or your healing magics would be. But when those aren't an option, we have to make do with what we have.
