Did they find you before their appearance, though, or after?

Did they say what helped them figure out that they could approach you? It might be good for us to keep in mind in case that other cat shows up again.

I drew a panda in the sand, though the ocean washed it away so quickly that I wasn't sure if they saw it until they reached out to me.

I see... I tried writing letters in the sand like I did with you, but the ocean washed it away too.

Full-fledged letters might've been too difficult for them to read in time, then.

Probably... the tide came in rather quickly.

The other cat does still trouble me, as well. If they are copying our forms, somehow, then-- for what purpose?

It could just be that there's another cat. I got a special delivery earlier this week which didn't come from me. And I know it didn't come from either of you...

I suppose it could have come from the horse, but that still leaves the pig tattoos unaccounted for.

I don't think it was the horse.

[they're not sure how much they're allowed to say just yet, but.]

Then there probably is just a second cat out there somewhere - it makes sense that the exact same effect would come from the exact same type of animal, in a way.

What, then, so there would simply be a second person sending dreams, yet all of theirs are for some reason ominous? They appeared to have more of a pattern to their messages, as well.

[countermeasures]

I'm not sure. But if there is someone we can ask about them, maybe we'll be able to figure it out.

Others received them as well, it seems, and from the beginning of my task there have been dreams which I did not send.

[his brow furrows there, thoughtful.]

I asked Bass of it, before, and-- [very brief pause.] -they were not certain of the source, but we theorized it may have been some effect of creating and sending them. Some form of ripple effect which caused dreams we did not make. But the form their marks take is still curious; we spoke of this largely before the second version appeared.

Hmm. Well... hopefully, we'll learn a little more.

I wonder if now that so many of us have shown ourselves as animals, if there are others like the cat - they might show themselves too?
